These little strips sure pack a lot of bright and colourful light! .
Note that the listing is for the RGB strip only (i.e. not the wires / arduino / breadboard you can see in my video).
The device runs exactly the same as the NeoPixel, including using the NeoPixel libraries. The only difference I can tell is that these have no Adafruit logo on the rear.
In my video, I'm running the strandtest example found on the Adafruit website here:
Notice when wiring it up, that there is a side with DIN for your signal line input. If you want to chain more together, then link the DOUT to the DIN of your next strip.
Advice : Capacitor & Resistor
I highly recommend ensuring you follow the Best Practices guide from Adafruit to have the best results for this device. In particular, the usage of a capacitor across your 5v power terminals and a 300 to 500 Ohm resistor between the data output pin and the input pin to the LED strip. Here's the link to the Best Practices guide:

Advice : 5v Signal Voltage
These LED strips expect a 5v signal line (to be attached to the VIN connector). Check what voltage your signal pins run at . Standard Arduino boards tend to run at 5v signal, but many modern devices such as the ESP32 seem to commonly run at 3.3v. A 3.3v signal line will not (in my experience) work at controlling the LED colours directly.
One way to use a 3.3v signal would be to run the signal through a Logic Level Shifter. A video guide on how to do this can be found here:
More info regarding Logic Level Shifting is available here:

Dimensions
I've added some photos showing the dimensions, including the gap between the mounting/screw holes. Note that if you're looking to mount it or use standoffs, M3 is a little too tight, you'll need M2.5 ideally, or M2 if you don't mind it being a little loosey-goosey.
- Length: 50 mm
- Width: 10 mm
- Mounting Hole Gap: 25 mm
- Standoff screw size: M2.5 (2.5 mm diameter screw thread)
Pricing
See my multi-buy offers for better value for money. The ebay fees and postage by far make up the bulk of the pricing!
Who is the seller?
I'm a hobbyist who likes to keep many of the same items in stock here in the UK (running out of something when you need it is a total pain, right?). So I figure I can help out with the UK community by selling the stuff I also love!
Are the parts new?
Yup! Any parts i use for photos, I keep for my own use :).

Why does the photo backing say "hobbystuff4"?
Oh naff. I'm going to have to re-do those images and video! I've recently registered to trade as Hobby Stuff Ltd. Wish me luck!
